Our client, a leading **Food Distributor** is seeking **Machine Operators** to join their team. The ideal candidate will have previous machine operator experience in a manufacturing setting, attention to details, computer skills and ability to work overtime which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title: Machine Operator Packaging**
**Location:** Charlotte, NC
**Shift:** Rotating days. Hours are 5:45am-6:15pm or 6:15pm to 5:45am. Overtime is mandatory every other weekend
**Pay Range: $24.80**
**What’s the Job?**
+ Efficiently maintains the operation of packaging machinery by monitoring codes, dates and prices.
+ Adjusts machine micro logic set-up as needed to maintain an efficient and low waste operation.
+ Understands and demonstrates the necessary skills involved to efficiently operate packaging equipment in so far as, but not limited to, machine setups, changeovers, proper running, procedural adjustments, sanitation cleanup, and shutdown.
+ Monitors and adjusts each machine to ensure proper cut off of film and bags have proper end seals and back seals as required.
+ Properly accounts for product run off and handles this product accordingly; sorts through and reworks all good product.
+ Keeps machines and work areas clean, wipes packaging machines off and blows down area when required.
**What’s Needed?**
+ At least 1 year of Machine Operator experience at a Manufacturing facility required
+ Basic Computer skills required
+ Ability to work overtime and stand for 12 hours shift
+ Exceptional attention to details and ability to multitask
+ High School Diploma or GED required
