**Type: Full-time / temp to hire opportunity**
**Pay: $16-$17/hr potential to increase up to $20 when hired on**
**About the Role:**
We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. In this
role, you will be responsible for operating, troubleshooting, and performing preventative
maintenance on manufacturing line equipment. You will play a critical role in ensuring production
targets are met while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency. As a Machine Operator, you will work independently to manage line operations, support continuous improvement initiatives, and train temporary workers, contributing to the success of the manufacturing process.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Operate and change over manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Monitor production output and communicate with team members, shift leaders,
maintenance, and planners to meet customer delivery schedules
• Ensure compliance with plant operating procedures, regulatory requirements, GMP guidelines, and quality control plans
• Maintain accurate production records and enter data as required
• Promote and adhere to plant safety policies, including PPE use, Lock Out/Tag Out, and emergency procedures
• Conduct safety audits and initiate corrective actions
• Train and mentor new temporary workers and Manufacturing Operators in the area
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement to optimize line efficiency and product quality
• Support a positive team environment by demonstrating respectful and effective
communication in line with company core values
Skills & Qualifications:
• Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of industrial safety procedures and ability to lead safety
improvements
• Ability to work any shift in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to plan and resolve equipment, material, and staffing issues
• Technical aptitude with high-speed manufacturing equipment, including troubleshooting capabilities
• Proficient computer skills (email, production reports, timekeeping systems)
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, reach overhead, bend, stoop, occasionally walk,
grasp items, and lift up to 40 lbs
