**Job Title: Slitter Machine Operator** **Job Description** We manufacture adhesive tapes for the automotive industry and are seeking a qualified Machine Operator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating production equipment while monitoring the production process efficiently. **Responsibilities** + Load and remove cores and mini rolls. + Inspect and pack tape rolls. + Adjust slitter knives at specified intervals using proper PPE. + Clean slitter knives each sharpening cycle with the provided cleaner using proper PPE. + Prepare and seal cartons, stacking them on pallets. + Follow Work Instructions verified to Product number. + Operate hydraulic electric lift pallet jacks. + Complete all paperwork and labeling for each box accurately. + Maintain accurate quality system documents. + Adhere to all policies and procedures related to TS16949. + Maintain safe work practices at all times. + Ensure housekeeping and organization in the converting area. + Demonstrate safe use of sharps. + Support 5S activities within the team. + Perform other duties as required or assigned. **Essential Skills** + General labor experience + Proficiency in slitter and coating machine operation + Forklift operation skills + Packaging and assembly skills + Inspection proficiency **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Manufacturing and Production experience is highly sought after. + Forward-thinking attitude and willingness to learn new procedures. **Why Work Here?** We offer a dynamic and well-organized work environment in a brand-new facility, with climate control and a neat, organized workspace. The workspace emphasizes safety, organization, and efficient operations. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of ROCK HILL, South Carolina. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.00/hr.
