Machine Operator
**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** Join our team as a Machine Operator, where you will be responsible for the setup and operation of high-speed printing press machinery. Your role is crucial in ensuring the delivery of quality products to our customers while minimizing downtime and setup times. **Responsibilities** + Setup and operate a high-speed printing press machine. + Maintain a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment while working safely. + Limit scrap waste, deliver waste to the proper department, and accurately tag for waste reporting. + Collect top and bottom sheets to expedite the converting process. + Practice good lock out/tag out procedures. + Accurately complete production paperwork and CTI/HRMS reporting. + Mount die boards, assist in machine setup, and ensure the machine runs smoothly. + Read and understand production order copies for each run and assist in ensuring quality. + Understand machine mechanical functionality and conduct in-depth cleaning of the press as scheduled. **Essential Skills** + 2 years of high-speed package operating experience. + Ability to read a measuring tape and ruler accurately and use basic shop math. + Ability to work in a high-speed packaging environment with attention to detail and quality. + Capability to lift up to 60 lbs throughout the day. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proven attendance record. + Strong drive for results and a strong work ethic. + Great attitude with the ability to work independently and in a team. **Why Work Here?** Be part of a brand-new state-of-the-art facility with significant growth potential. While the facility is not climate-controlled, it is well-ventilated. Safety equipment such as steel toes, safety vests, glasses, and ear protection is required. The facility features two main work areas: Converting and Corrugating Departments. 2nd Shift: 2 pm - 10 pm, 3rd Shift: 10 pm - 6 am. Over 10 hours of overtime is required per week. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
