Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Machine Operators to join our team for both 1st and 2nd shifts. This entry-level role involves operating honing or lapping machines, primarily older models, and requires comfort working around running machine blades. The typical day involves standing in one spot, repetitively inserting small metal parts into machines, and maintaining high attention to detail.

ResponsibilitiesOperate honing or lapping machines with precision.Stand in one spot to perform repetitive tasks involving small parts.Check parts using no-go gauges and perform basic math calculations.Document basic numbers and data accurately.Ensure high attention to detail in all tasks performed.Essential SkillsComfortable working around older grinding machines.No allergies to oils used in machine operation.Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for long periods.Comfortable handling smaller parts.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious machine operating experience is a plus.Experience in manufacturing is advantageous.CNC or grinding experience is highly beneficial.Why Work Here?

Our work environment involves finish grinding and honing to meet a wide variety of specifications. Established in 1974, we pride ourselves on delivering quality work promptly to meet our customers' evolving demands. The job involves working with small pieces and standing for extended periods, so comfortable footwear is recommended. We maintain extremely close tolerances on a wide variety of part sizes and material types.

This position is based out of Arlington Heights, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.
