Join our production team, specializing in the manufacture of Carbon Rings and Seals for the Oil Industry. We offer a variety of opportunities including machine operating, grinding, quality control, material handling, and CNC operations. Our unique product, akin to cast iron, serves as seals, couplings, washers, and more. It is insulated and does not transfer heat. We promote from within, starting most candidates as Machine Operators in our Carbon Pressing Department. You will operate machines that press powder carbon into rings, perform quality checks, and manage offsets to ensure specifications are met. This role involves inspecting rings for imperfections, stacking them, and monitoring their cooking process in a furnace.
ResponsibilitiesOperate machines to press powder carbon into rings.Perform quality checks using micrometers and calipers.Inspect rings visually for imperfections.Stack rings and manage their cooking process in a furnace for solidification.Operate lapper machines and monitor progress.Perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.Essential SkillsPrevious production experience with machinery.Experience with micrometers, calipers, drop gauges, or veneers.Familiarity with blueprints.Additional Skills & QualificationsGrinding experience.Experience with Press Machinery, Manual Machines (Mill/Lathes/Grinders), Thermoforming Machines, or Injection Molding Machines.Strong mechanical aptitude.Understanding of 'ID, OD'.Good vision for handling small parts.Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
