Job Title: Machine Operator 2nd shift!

Job Description

This position is responsible for the overall operation of machinery, ensuring the production of high-quality products while safely meeting deadlines. Additional responsibilities include providing training and general direction to Assistant Machine Operators, assisting with the creation of SOPs and other production-related documentation, inventory data entry, and cross-training into other job functions as needed.

ResponsibilitiesOperate machinery to produce quality products within deadlines.Train and direct Assistant Machine Operators.Assist with creating Standard Operating Procedures and production documentation.Perform inventory data entry.Cross-train into other job functions as needed.Attend departmental, production, safety, and company meetings.Operate sit-down forklift and reroller machine, feeding into the lamination machine.Essential Skills1+ years of experience in machine operation and manufacturing.Proficiency in operating sit-down forklifts.High School Diploma/GED.Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).Ability to multitask in a stressful environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the paper industry.Knowledge of overhead crane operations.Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures.Machine setup and troubleshooting skills.Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of YORK, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr.
