Job Description
Join our team as a Machine Operator where you will be an integral part of our manufacturing process, working during afternoon shifts from 2:48pm to 11:00pm. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production operations.
ResponsibilitiesOperate presses in the molding department, ensuring smooth and efficient production.Lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout your shift.Visually inspect products for quality assurance.Load and unload rubber into the machine, requiring manual dexterity and attention to detail.Stand at one machine for the majority of the shift, performing repetitive tasks.Reach into machines to load and unload products, which may be awkward due to the length of the product and machine.Use hands extensively for loading products, lifting, and packaging products of awkward sizes.Transport materials to the next station in the manufacturing process.Complete production tickets and press production sheets, along with downtime sheets.Maintain cleanliness by picking up and sweeping scrap.Stand, walk, bend, and twist for more than 80% of the workday.Operate mixing equipment and produce raw material based on batch tickets.Utilize computer systems to check scales, loaders, mills, and vacuum hoists.Perform inspections of materials for defects and inconsistencies.Complete necessary documentation and paperwork.Drive a tow motor and maintain a clean work environment.Essential SkillsAbility to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.Experience in reading work instructions and operating machinery.Willingness to work in non-temperature controlled environments.Openness to working 60 hours a week.Minimum of 2 years experience in manufacturing and machine operation.Additional Skills & QualificationsPossession of steel toe boots.No facial piercings during work hours.Why Work Here?

This is a Permanent position based out of Middlefield, Ohio.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $50000.00/yr.
•\tEligible for benefits the 1st of the month after 90 days of employment
•\tIf the candidate is on Cobra / Market place insurance and there is a gap for benefits Tarkett will cover the gap and pay for their insurance until they are eligible for Tarkett benefits
