Job Responsibilities:

Load and remove cores and mini rollsInspect and pack tape rollsSharpen slitter knives at the frequency provided in Work Instructions using proper PPEClean slitter knives each sharpening cycle using the cleaner provided and proper PPEPrep and seal cartons and stack them on palletsFollow Work Instructions verified to Product numberOperate hydraulic electric lift pallet jacksComplete all paperwork and labeling for each boxComplete accurate quality system documentsFollow all policies and procedures related to TS16949Maintain safe work practices at all timesMaintain Housekeeping and Organization in the Converting areaDemonstrate safe use of sharpsSupport 5S activities in the teamPerform other duties as required or assigned

Work environment:

Our brand new facility, about 5-6 years old, is climate-controlled and extremely neat and organized.There are two main departments: the Coating department, where operators add adhesive to one side of the tape, and the Slitter department, where larger rolls of tape are converted into smaller rolls using the slitter machine.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.00/hr.
