Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team. This role involves setting up and operating metal forming equipment, performing quality inspections, and supporting our manufacturing processes. There are two open positions available, and candidates must be open to working various shifts, including day, evening, and overnight.

ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate metal forming equipmentUtilize tools and follow work instructionsOperate cutback sawPerform changeovers for shear diesOperate stamping pressesConduct visual and quality inspections using calipers and micrometersPerform basic math and use a tape measure for quality checks and saw operationLift up to 50 lbsUse a tape measure to check the length, width, and spacing of holesComplete documentation for completed jobsUtilize a micrometer to measure the thickness of metalAssist material handlers with coils and steelEssential SkillsMechanical maintenanceTape measure proficiencyPress operator experienceMechanically inclinedExperience with overhead cranesMachine repair and operationExperience with stamping presses and press brakesAbility to unload and band materialsExperience with progressive dies and slitter machinesAdditional Skills & QualificationsMust be mechanically inclined and able to use hand and power toolsAbility to read a tape measure to the 32nd inchOpen to working all shiftsMinimum of 1 year of press operator experiencePossess metatarsal boot coversAbility to lift 50 lbsExperience with stamping presses and slitter machines is a plusPay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
