Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating a saw to cut foam materials. Candidates must have the ability to read a tape measure accurately and be physically capable of lifting up to 80 lbs.

ResponsibilitiesOperate a saw to cut foam materials according to specified measurements.Conduct quality control checks to ensure precision and adherence to standards.Handle materials efficiently and safely.Load and unload materials as required.Perform inspection measurements using a tape measure.Assist with facility cleaning during slow periods without prompting.Essential SkillsProficient in reading and using a tape measure.Ability to lift 80 lbs safely.Quality control and assurance expertise.Basic comprehension of measurements and fractions.Additional Skills & QualificationsMinimum of 6 months experience using a tape measure.At least 1 year of sit-down forklift experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The position is indoors but not climate-controlled, and temperatures can become extremely high during the summer months. Large fans are installed to mitigate the heat. The work environment fosters a team atmosphere and candidates are expected to contribute to facility cleanliness proactively. The role is a 2nd shift position, with working hours from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr.
