Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title: Machine Operator**
**Location:** **Durham, NC**
**Pay Range: $16 (up to $18.13 after training)**
**Schedule:** **6:45PM - 6:45AM (2ON/2OFF/3ON)**
**What's the Job?**
+ Operate slitter machine to production, waste, and quality standards.
+ Take note of malfunctions in the equipment and product, correcting them as needed.
+ Properly document, set up and handle raw materials in preparation for the process.
+ Prepare, place, and remove paper rolls as necessary for the process.
+ Verify that production quantity meets customer needs.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or GED, college education a plus
+ One year of manufacturing or mechanical experience.
+ Ability to apply written and verbal instructions to set-up machine and operation.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office for logging and documentation.
+ Ability to maintain great attendance and tardy record.
