Machine Operator
**Now Hiring Machine Operator in York, PA!** Shift: 2nd shift M-F 2:45p-11pm 1-2 Saturdays a month Pay: $18.75-$20/hr based on experience **Job Description** This position is responsible for the overall operation of machinery, ensuring the supply of high-quality products while meeting deadlines safely. Key responsibilities include providing training and general direction to Assistant Machine Operators, assisting in creating SOPs and other production-related documentation, performing inventory data entry, and cross-training into other job functions as needed. Routine attendance at departmental, production, safety, and company meetings is also required. **Responsibilities** + Operate machinery to supply high-quality products while ensuring safety. + Train and provide direction to Assistant Machine Operators. + Assist in creating SOPs and other production documentation. + Perform inventory data entry. + Cross-train into other job functions as needed. + Attend departmental, production, safety, and company meetings routinely. **Essential Skills** + 1+ years of machine operation experience in manufacturing. + Experience with sit-down forklifts. + Fluency in English (read, write, speak). + High School Diploma or GED. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with overhead cranes. + Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures. + Experience in machine setup and troubleshooting. + Experience from the paper industry is preferred. + Ability to multitask in a stressful environment. **Why Work Here?** Employees enjoy comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, a 401K match up to 4%, and paid time off. The role is for the 2nd shift from 2:45 pm to 11 pm, with occasional Saturday work required. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr.
