Machine Operator

Our client is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting quality assurance and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Machine Operator
**Location:** Hanover, PA
**Pay Range:** $18 to $19
**Shifts available:** 5am to 5pm or 5pm to 5am (working 4 days on, 4 days off)
**What's the Job?**
+ Check loads of plate for possible problems before running them on the slitter.
+ Accurately fill out production reports from load tickets.
+ Inspect body blanks being produced for quality, margins, surface scratches, squareness, and color variation.
+ Feed body blanks into the welder and check the quality of ends.
+ Maintain a clean work area and assist in producing good quality and quantity.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Education/GED.
+ Manufacturing experience is a plus.
+ Availability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
+ Knowledge of OSHA-related training in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
+ Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and stand for 8-12 hour shifts.
