**Machine Operator -1st Shift** + **1st shift 4/10 schedule - Tuesday - Friday 5:30 am - 4:00 pm** + **South El Monte, CA** + **$21/hr** Job is for an Entry Level Machine Operator to work at our facility in South El Monte, CA. This position will require employee to learn to solder, operate molding machines, operate manual lathe, inspect, electrical test, and repair slip ring assemblies. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** • Follows standardized manufacturing and safety procedures, production drawings and verbal instructions to manufacture electromechanical components and perform quality checks • Reads and interprets documents such as safety procedures and operating and maintenance instructions • Learn to operate molding machine • Soldering, mechanical assembly, use of testing equipment like multi meters and hi pot required • Prepares wire by cutting, stripping, tinning, soldering and labeling • Uses a wide variety of hand and power tools to perform assembly work, inspect parts and perform basic tests including, but not limited to hi-pot and continuity • Troubleshoots and repairs or replaces finished products with defects • Records information on production records, logs and other report forms • Works on a team and uses problem solving skills • Communicates and coordinates with other employees to efficiently time production needs • Performs multiple tasks simultaneously • Keeps the work area in a clean, orderly and well-maintained condition • Performs other duties as assigned **Required Qualifications:** • Good verbal communication skills required • Proficiency in basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide) • Must be able to read and interpret documents and drawings • Must be able to correctly complete written quality records and job costing forms • Ability to complete repetitive hands on tasks • High attention to detail and ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly **Preferred** **Qualifications:** • 2+ years of relative work experience • Experience working with hand tools, machines • Competence with standard hand tools in addition to presses, air tools, gauges, fixtures, test equipment, etc. **Benefits:** • Profit Sharing Bonus • 401K Retirement Plan • Paid holidays • Vacation Time • Health Insurance • Flexible Spending Account Please reply with your resume or contact the Aerotek office in City of Industry, CA and ask for **Robert Pilon 562 566 4718** **Thank you!** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
