Machine Operator - 3rd Shift - 18.75/HR
**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated individuals to assist with machine operating tasks in our Detroit facility for a Three Rivers production project. **Responsibilities** + Loading and unloading CNC machines or presses. + Using hand tools to assemble parts on a line. + Measuring parts to ensure they are within tolerance. + Adding covers to finished axles before they go through the paint line. + Ability to consistently lift 50 Lbs. consistently for the duration of your shift **Essential Skills** + Prior manufacturing experience in a production environment. + Experience operating a machine, including turning it on, loading a part, pushing a button, and inspecting parts for defects. + Possession of steel-toed boots or shoes. + High School Diploma or GED. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Prior CNC experience is preferred. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers an excellent benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401K plans. The dress code includes wearing jeans, a shirt with no logos or vulgar language, and steel-toed boots. The role is on the 3rd shift from Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with mandatory overtime. Initial training will be on the 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM for at least one week. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Detroit, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr.
