Job Description

As a Machine Operator, you will play an integral role in our production process, assisting with Flexo machines that fold, stack, and package boxes. Responsibilities

Assist in operating Flexo machines for folding, stacking, and packaging boxes.Feed raw cardboard material into the machine, working at the front of the machines.Perform loading and unloading duties as required.Ensure accurate material preparation by reading tape measures.Lift materials weighing between 20-40 lbs consistently.Adapt to varying day-to-day work tasks and be open to cross-training.

Essential Skills

1+ years of recent machine operating experience, preferably in paper, plastic, or food manufacturing industries.1+ years of manufacturing experience.Proficiency in reading and using a tape measure.Ability to lift 30-40 lbs consistently.Capability to stand on feet for 8-10 hours per day.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with machine setups and adjustments.

Work Environment

The work environment is a recently built facility equipped with modern machinery, operating on a 2nd shift schedule from 3pm to 11pm, Monday through Friday. The machines are loud, and the facility can become warm during the summer months. A check is required, and a 4-panel OralTox test (excluding THC) is conducted. The company operates advanced Flexo and corrugated packaging machines, similar to those at Quad Graphics or West Rock.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
