Job Title: Machine Operator $22-24/HR

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Machine Operator in the molding and mixing departments. We are seeking individuals who are eager to learn and work in a fast-paced environment. This role involves operating machines, maintaining quality assurance, and participating in various manufacturing processes. The position offers the opportunity to work afternoon shifts with potential training during daytime hours.

ResponsibilitiesOperate presses and machinery in the molding department.Lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and transport materials.Visually inspect products for quality assurance.Load and unload rubber into machines, and reach into machines to handle products.Work primarily at one machine, performing repetitive tasks.Complete production tickets, press production sheets, and downtime sheets.Maintain cleanliness by picking up and sweeping scrap.Set up and operate mixing equipment, following batch tickets.Utilize computers for checking scales, loaders, mills, and vacuum hoists.Inspect materials for defects and inconsistencies.Drive tow motor and maintain a clean work environment.Essential SkillsAbility to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.Experience in a non-temperature controlled environment.Experience reading work instructions.Willingness to work 60 hours a week.Possession of steel toe boots.At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing and machine operating.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust remove facial piercings during work hours.Proficiency with computer systems for operational checks.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Our plant operates on a European shift system, with first shift at nights, second shift during the day, and third shift in the afternoons. The Middlefield Plant is a bustling hub with over 100 employees, and we aim to expand further. Please note, the environment is not temperature controlled, and it can get quite hot, especially in summer. Despite the challenging conditions, we ensure a supportive and inclusive work atmosphere, with fans running 24/7 to provide some relief.

This is a Permanent position based out of Middlefield, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $50000.00/yr.

$2,000 sign on bonus - paid out $500 every 90 days
