Machine Operator - 1st Shift

Job Summary: 
Operate automated insertion equipment for printed circuit board assemblies.  Perform routine maintenance and repairs.
 Responsibilities: 
·         Run automated insertion and/or pick and place equipment for printed circuit board assemblies under direct supervision and written procedures. 

·         Maintain records for all manufactured product.  Assist in development and implementation of insertion and/or pick and place procedures. 

·         Knowledge of leaded versus lead free assembly processes

·         Perform preventative maintenance based on the machine manufacturer’s schedule. 

·         Assist in major machine maintenance and repairs. 

·         Develop auto insertion and/or pick and place machine programs and edit existing programs as required by ECO changes.

·         Ability to read and work from blue prints, diagrams, schematics and other manufacturing documentation with direct supervision.

·         Ability to float on floor where there is a work need.

·         Follow safety procedures.

·         Maintain clean and orderly work area.

·         Assist with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
·         High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.

·         Basic communication and math skills generally associated with a high school education.

·         Minimum of one to two years of experience in electronics field, preferred.

·         Have a working knowledge of all necessary tools and equipment.

·         Knowledge of electronics components (types and values), preferred.

High energy level, quick learner, and highly flexible.Positive attitude.
