Job Title: Machine Operator - 1st Shift - $17/HR

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Operator to manage the operation of our client’s machines. This role involves ensuring smooth workflow and maintaining high-quality standards.

ResponsibilitiesFeed the machine with stacks of paper.Monitor the flow of paper.Pick up large stacks of envelopes (50 at a time), straighten them, and box them.Monitor the ink flow from the stamping machine.Box up envelopes.Check envelopes after each load to confirm quality.Document quality checks.Record data from checks.Essential SkillsExperience as a machine operator or production operator.Mechanically inclined.Ability to read a tape measure, including 1/8th and 1/16th of inches.Packing or operating experience, including loading multiple parts/products onto a machine.Experience operating two machines simultaneously.Ability to stand, walk, twist, reach overhead, and bend for the duration of the shift.Attention to detail and quality experience, including checking printed jobs for accuracy.Additional Skills & QualificationsGeneral labor experience.Assembly experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is in a large facility with a warehouse and shipping area located near the front dock doors and production on the opposite side. It is very loud, not climate-controlled, but equipped with industrial fans for comfort. Candidates are required to wear company-provided earplugs on the floor.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
