Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Production Worker / Machine Operator on 2nd or 3rd shift. You will be part of a growing organization, with an opportunity to learn and develop your skills in a supportive environment. This is a contract-to-hire position, with training provided on the 1st shift before transitioning to your regular hours.
ResponsibilitiesSet equipment off-line for set-ups, changeovers, and first-off inspections.Perform first-off inspections and run the line efficiently.Use inspection tools and measurement equipment effectively.Receive training to operate roll form machines.Drive forklifts and load trucks.Conduct inventory counts accurately.Read prints for quality inspection and operation.Operate overhead cranes safely.Document inspected parts with handwritten notes.Read set-up instructions and set-up notes for press operations.Complete inspection reports with high attention to detail.Follow lockout tagout procedures meticulously.Apply basic math skills, including converting fractions to decimals.Assist in shipping and warehouse duties.Work in a non-departmentalized environment where cross-training is provided.Essential SkillsAbility to read tape measures and blueprints or work instructions.High attention to detail and experience in documentation.At least 1 year of machine operating and set-up experience.Willingness to work 10-hour shifts.Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work safely.Additional Skills & QualificationsSteel toe boots are required.Experience with Micrometers and calipers is beneficial.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will work in a facility that is a Tier 2 supplier for data centers, ensuring a recession-proof environment. The company is not in the automotive space, focusing on niche parts production with zero safety violations for three years. With a core group of 23 employees, the company is expanding its 2nd shift and projects 50% growth this year. CDH provides in-house roll forming, stamping, and slitting to meet customer needs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Ohio.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
