Our client, an industry leader in surface preparation and metal coating services, is seeking an experienced Sandblaster to join their team. As a Sandblaster, you will be part of the manufacturing support team supporting surface preparation operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to learn new skills quickly, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sandblaster

Location: Kansas City, MO

Pay Range: $18 - $20

Shift: 8-hour shift (Monday to Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.)

What's the Job?

Operate sandblasting equipment to prepare metal surfaces using aluminum oxide, mineral medias, glass bead, and walnut media Adjust blasting equipment to ensure consistent, light blast profiles suitable for thin-film coatings like Teflon Perform masking of parts as required by clients to ensure proper coating application Assist with shipping, receiving, and forklift operations as needed Conduct quality inspections of finished parts and complete necessary paperwork

What's Needed?

Ability to lift 40-50 lbs occasionally Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) Strong attention to detail and quality standards Reliable attendance and punctuality Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks within the plant
