As a Product Manager in the Machine Learning and Optimization team within Chase Digital, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. You are a NLP/ML expert with knowledge of deep learning and traditional NLP approaches, sound experimentation and have built state-of-the-art scalable systems.
Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Job responsibilities
Develops a ML/AI product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customersLeads AI/ML/NLP projects from concept to delivery, by bringing together ML engineers, software developers, data scientists and designersLeads AI innovation by incorporating the latest advances in Gen AI, agentic systems, LLMs, Deep learning and NLP into the conversational AI productCreates and tracks conversational AI metrics in close collaboration with data science teamsCollaborates closely with computational linguists and data annotation teams to create and validate high quality conversational data for training and evaluating ML systemManages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmapOwns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables developmentExecutes on the product roadmap by creating epics on Jira, leading agile scrum teams, following agile methodology maintaining clean agility metricsBuilds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability and communicates the same to key stakeholders.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
MS/PhD in Computer Science or relevant field, or MBA5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain areaExpert-level NLP and Machine learning experience, specifically in deep learning, LLMs, agentic systems and machine learningExperience in building large-scale AI systems Experience in leading cross-functional teams to deliver results to stakeholdersAdvanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analyticsProven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value managementExcellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Publications in AI/ML/NLP conferences and/or patentsExperience with Agile methodologies, and leading agile scrum teamsJira experience including epic creation, sprint planning, and other sprint ceremoniesDemonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organizationExperience with system design, scaling and deploymentFamiliarity with responsible AI Familiarity with Python, Java, Pytorch, LLM prompting, Agentic systems
