Machine Builder

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Machine Builders who are proficient in blueprint reading and have a strong mechanical aptitude. This role involves reading manufacturing prints and orders, lifting and carrying a minimum of 60 lbs on a regular basis, and performing basic shop math. Candidates must be capable of working with pneumatic air tools and machines, and must be able to fill out all necessary paperwork accurately.

ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints and manufacturing prints.Use pneumatic air tools and machines effectively.Lift and carry at least 60 lbs regularly.Perform basic shop math.Fill out all required paperwork accurately.Contribute to machine assembly and electrical assembly.Handle tasks such as wiring, packing, shipping, and palletizing.Progress efficiently to meet production requirements.Essential SkillsProficiency in blueprint reading.Mechanical inclination.Experience in machine building and assembly.Ability to work with both hand and power tools.Experience with pneumatic air tools.Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting and carrying.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in electrical assembly.Knowledge of machine assembly techniques.Familiarity with shipping and palletizing processes.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work on a dynamic shop floor with assembly benches located throughout. The back of the shop is dedicated to fabrication, machining, and maintenance, while the front focuses on ship preparation and assembly.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mentor, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
