**Job Title: Automated Assembly Machine Builder** **Job Description**
Join our dynamic team dedicated to building and troubleshooting automated assembly machines, sub-assemblies, and electrical components from engineering blueprints and specifications. Engage in debugging processes for new machines and perform precise machine alignments and final set-ups.
**Responsibilities**
+ Build and troubleshoot automated assembly machines, sub-assemblies, and electrical components based on engineering blueprints and specifications.
+ Debug machines and processes for new machinery.
+ Perform machine alignments and final set-ups.
+ Participate in the planning and design of high-speed, precision machinery.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years of experience in building automatic assembly equipment involving the assembly and debug of pneumatic components, indexers, pick and place devices, metal form tooling, punch and dyes.
+ Proven mechanical aptitude.
+ Strong math skills with the ability to interpret engineering drawings.
+ Knowledge of basic machine shop tools.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Associate's degree, specialized education, or vocational-technical training in a mechanical field or crafts trade is preferred.

**Work Environment**
Work within two specialized machine building departments: Machine Build Finishing and Machine Build Prototyping. Engage in a collaborative and innovative atmosphere, utilizing advanced technologies and tools.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Cary, IL.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
