**Job Title: Machine Builder** **This is a permanent/direct hire, hourly wage role** **Pay:** $23-$28/hr based on experience **Schedule:** 6:30am-2:30pm Monday-Friday **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled craftsman with a keen eye for detail to join our team as a Machine Builder. You will be responsible for assembling machinery, fabricated metal parts, electrical equipment, sub-assemblies, and more, all according to clients' specifications. As an Assembly Technician/Builder, you will follow technical drawings and specifications to ensure the accurate construction of machinery and equipment. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to travel and train clients on their custom-made equipment. **Responsibilities** + Assemble machinery, equipment, and subassemblies following technical drawings and specifications. + Understand the overall machine design and purpose for precise assembly. + Occasional travel to client locations to set up and train clients on their equipment. + Maintain and perform repairs on equipment to ensure optimal functionality. + Work as part of a team to ensure on-time shipments. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in reading and understanding technical drawings and schematics. + Strong assembly and machine building skills. + Experience in electrical assembly and wiring. + Basic computer skills to view technical information. + Detail-oriented and consistent in work quality. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with painting and 5S & Lean Manufacturing techniques. + A high school diploma or equivalent is required. + Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role. **Why Work Here?** Join a family-owned, locally operated machinery manufacturer with over 100 years of history in Hanover, PA.
