Machine Builder
**Job Title: Machine Builder** **Job Description** This position contributes to the manufacturing of quality blow molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and all sub-assemblies using power and hand tools, precision tools, and other required equipment. You will ensure compliance with OSHA, MIOSHA, and Company safety standards, and perform duties with a strong focus on quality and efficiency. **Responsibilities** + Build or manufacture items to drawings and bills of material, ensuring production quality and quantity as scheduled. + Proficient use of precision measuring equipment. + Assist in training employees as needed. + Assist customers/vendors with phone or site consultations when necessary. + Maintain and repair building and installed equipment, including new equipment as assigned. + Perform preventative maintenance and maintain good housekeeping to ensure quality and safe operations. + Assist in other departments as temporarily assigned. + Confer with supervisors, engineering, production personnel, or others to resolve manufacturing problems. + Report shortages of parts, tools, and materials in a timely manner. + Operate power equipment and material handling equipment (forklifts, cranes, etc.). + Use personal hand tools to perform tasks effectively. + Operate mainframe computer. + Develop specifications from general descriptions and draw sketches of parts or products to be manufactured. + Work with both metric and inch systems. + Submit daily time accounting, payroll information, and other paperwork as requested. **Essential Skills** + Ability to build sub-assemblies and/or final machine assemblies. + Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics. + Perform layouts, drilling, tapping, pinning, etc. + Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $58240.00/yr.
