Job Title: Machine Attendant

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Machine Attendants to join our team in Lake Forest, IL. Our company supports police and military operations by manufacturing non-lethal projectiles used in training, crowd control, and civil unrest. Think of it like a paintball filled with pepper spray. As a Machine Attendant, you will be involved in filling small plastic caps with material using various machinery, some automated and some manual.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate machinery for production.Load small plastic parts into machines.Visually inspect small components for quality assurance.Pack and prepare products for dispatch.Ensure machinery operates efficiently by performing routine checks.Follow work instructions carefully and accurately.

Essential Skills

Ability to read and follow work instructions in English.Capability to load small plastic parts into machines.Competence in visually inspecting small components.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing, quality, or production is advantageous.Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.Backgroun in foods or plastics industry is beneficial.

Work Environment

The production area houses various machines catering to a wide range of products. Some machines are fully automated, requiring minimal intervention, while others need manual loading of caps. The facility includes a quality area and a test shooting range for non-lethal projectiles. All roles include a 30-minute paid lunch, and employees work two Saturdays a month until fully staffed. Shifts include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with specific hours.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lake Forest, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $24.00/hr.
