**Job Title: Machine Assembly Technician** **Job Description** As a Machine Assembly Technician, you will be an integral part of a team responsible for assembling both large and small industrial vibratory screening machines and rotating shaft screen types. This position is on 1st shift, operating from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. **Responsibilities** + Collaborate with a team to assemble industrial vibratory screening machines, including bolting angles to plates and using fixturing devices to locate components. + Bolt components in correct locations according to engineering prints and weld components in place when necessary. + Apply Loctite to bolts when required and assemble conveyor components onto fabricated conveyor frames, including installing guards. + Assemble bearing/exciter shafts, which includes machining components, pressing large bearings, and installing o-rings. + Apply grease or oil to bearing assemblies upon completion and visually inspect individual parts before assembly. + Assemble drive arrangements, including motors, drive bases, and guards. + Prepare mating surfaces with primer, clean machined surfaces, and conduct test runs and calibrations of vibratory screens. + Measure screen strokes and make adjustments to the machine if necessary. + Package loose screen components for shipment upon completion of assembly. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in assembly procedures and blueprint reading in both standard and metric dimensions. + Ability to operate power and hand tools, including pneumatic impacts, grinders, grease guns, and torque wrenches. + Experience with fitting and welding as required. + Familiarity with various fasteners such as nuts, bolts, and washers. + Skill in operating forklifts and overhead cranes. + Capability to read a tape measure in both standard and metric. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Knowledge of electrical components. + Experience in the use of assembly tools and techniques. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a laid-back work environment with a convenient four-day workweek schedule, located right off Main St in Leola, PA. **Work Environment** Work within a shop environment focused on building large equipment for the scrap metal and agricultural industries.
