As part of a small global team of packaging design experts, you are the guardian of the Mondelēz design-to-print process, working cross-functionally with internal teams and external design agencies, artwork suppliers and printers to ensure we deliver excellence in packaging design with consistently impressive on-shelf looks. **How you will contribute** You will be responsible for managing and tracking the marketing budget and market purchasing. You will also oversee compliance management and design-to-print operations. **What you will bring** A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge: + Marketing + Design and artwork in a corporate or agency environment + Packaging print processes, substrates and formats + Color management + Graphics software + Process and project management **More about this role** **Key Responsibilities:** + **Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Opportunity Identification and Assessment:** + Proactively identify and evaluate potential M&A and strategic alliance opportunities aligned with the company's growth objectives. + Conduct thorough due diligence on potential targets, including financial analysis, market assessment, and competitive positioning. + Develop financial models and business cases to support M&A recommendations. + Present M&A opportunities and recommendations to strategy teams and executive management. + **Competitive Intelligence Gathering and Analysis:** + Continuously monitor and analyze the competitive landscape, including competitor strategies, market share, product innovations, and pricing activities. + Develop and maintain a comprehensive competitive intelligence database. + Prepare regular reports and presentations on competitive trends and insights for key stakeholders. + Identify potential threats and opportunities arising from competitor activities. + **Strategic Partnership and Collaboration:** + Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Sales, R&D, Finance) to gather information, share insights, and develop integrated strategies. + Build and maintain relationships with industry experts, analysts, and consultants to enhance competitive intelligence capabilities. + Work closely with innovation teams to identify and evaluate new product and technology opportunities. + **Market Trend Analysis:** + Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and emerging technologies to identify new growth opportunities. + Develop forecasts and scenarios to support strategic planning. + Provide insights on market dynamics and competitive pressures to inform decision-making across the organization. + **Strategic Initiative Support:** + Contribute to the development and execution of strategic initiatives aimed at driving growth, improving market share, and enhancing profitability. + Provide analytical support and insights to strategic planning processes. + Monitor the progress of strategic initiatives and recommend adjustments as needed. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred. + 10+ years of progressive experience in strategy, M&A, competitive intelligence, or related roles within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and marketing industry. + In-depth understanding of market dynamics, competitive analysis, and financial modeling. + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills. + Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. + Marketing experience and knowledge + Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. + Experience working with cross-functional teams. + Fluency in English is required. **Core Competencies:** + Strategic Thinking + Analytical Skills + Financial Acumen + Competitive Intelligence + Communication and Presentation Skills + Collaboration and Teamwork + Results-Orientation No Relocation support available Business Unit Summary **Wacam is Mondelēz** **International’s Latin America presence with more the 1700 wonderful people proudly representing a diversity of cultures and nationalities.
