Responsibilities: ... -Order Fulfillment: Receiving and verifying incoming order tickets (via paper or RF scanner) and accurately selecting the correct items, quantity, size, and type from warehouse shelves or storage locations.
-Packaging and Staging: Assembling orders onto pallets, securely shrink-wrapping or strapping the contents to prevent damage, and moving the completed orders to the designated staging or shipping area.
-Equipment Operation: Safely operating various warehouse equipment, such as order pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, and hand jacks, to move materials and load/unload trucks.
-Inventory Management: Updating inventory records after each retrieval, assisting with physical inventory counts, reporting stock shortages or discrepancies, and ensuring accurate stock availability.
-Safety and Maintenance: Adhering to all health and safety policies (e.g., OSHA regulations), performing regular inspections of equipment, reporting any malfunctions, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
-Documentation: Completing all necessary paperwork in a timely and accurate manner to maintain records for tracking and inventory management purposes.
-General Warehouse Duties: Performing other general warehouse duties as assigned by management to support overall operations and efficiency.
