We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician who can independently handle installations and programming tasks after initial training. This role involves working with security systems, particularly focusing on the installation and servicing of CCTV, IP Video Surveillance, and Access Control systems. The ideal candidate should possess some programming experience, as it could result in a higher compensation package.
ResponsibilitiesInstall and service security systems, focusing primarily on Openpath and Isonas brands.Conduct installations and termination of Cat-5e and Cat-6 cabling.Set up and maintain CCTV and IP Video Surveillance systems.Perform access control installations and services.Ensure excellent work quality and maintain a proven track record.Collaborate with a full-service technology team offering access control, video surveillance, and structured cabling services.
Essential SkillsExperience in low voltage installations.Proficiency in data cabling and wire pulling.Capability in camera system installations and IP setups.Knowledge of blueprint reading and electrical concepts.Ability to terminate Cat5 and Cat6 cables.
Additional Skills & QualificationsAuthorized dealer certifications for Honeywell WEBs-AX Security, AXIS A1001, and Amano for Access Control.Certified in Milestone and ExacqVision IP Video Management Software.Authorized dealer certifications for Sony, AXIS, and Hikvision IP Cameras.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Ability to pass background checks and drug screens.Possession of basic hand tools for commercial low voltage installation.

Work Environment
The role is set in a 100% commercial environment, primarily serving clients in the Indianapolis market including major names like Allied Solutions, Nestle, Roche, and Stanley Security. The standard work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM from Monday to Friday, with some flexibility based on project locations. Initially, you will report directly to the project site in your personal vehicle, with potential to join colleagues in work trucks. Travel time over an hour is compensated, and mileage between job sites is reimbursed.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
