**Job Title: Low Voltage Technician** Job Description The Low Voltage Lead Technician oversees and executes the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems, including security systems, fire alarms, audio/visual systems, telecommunications, and networking. This role demands technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients. Responsibilities + Oversee and execute the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems. + Decommission old cabling, access points, and IDF and MDF closets. + Install new cabling and terminate copper and fiber connections. + Install access points and CCTV systems. + Operate a man lift as required. Essential Skills + 3+ years of experience in installation and service of Structured Cabling, Video Surveillance, Access Control, or Nurse Call systems. + 1+ years of experience in installation and service of Fire Alarm Systems. + Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook. + Good writing and communication skills. + Excellent customer service abilities and professionalism. + Capability to work independently and within a team. + Ability to collaborate with other trades and contractors on multi-disciplinary projects. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Self-starter with great initiative and drive. + Willingness to learn new systems and take on complex technology projects. + Willingness to travel within the region and out of state to complete projects for national clients, with travel expenses and daily per diem covered.
