Low Voltage Technician
**Job Title: Low Voltage Technician** Job Description The Low Voltage Lead Technician oversees and executes the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems, including security systems, fire alarms, audio/visual systems, telecommunications, and networking. This role demands technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients. Responsibilities + Oversee and execute the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems. + Decommission old cabling, access points, and IDF and MDF closets. + Install new cabling and terminate copper and fiber connections. + Install access points and CCTV systems. + Operate a man lift as required. Essential Skills + 3+ years of experience in installation and service of Structured Cabling, Video Surveillance, Access Control, or Nurse Call systems. + 1+ years of experience in installation and service of Fire Alarm Systems. + Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook. + Good writing and communication skills. + Excellent customer service abilities and professionalism. + Capability to work independently and within a team. + Ability to collaborate with other trades and contractors on multi-disciplinary projects. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Self-starter with great initiative and drive. + Willingness to learn new systems and take on complex technology projects. + Willingness to travel within the region and out of state to complete projects for national clients, with travel expenses and daily per diem covered. Work Environment This role involves working in commercial properties, with travel required within the assigned region. The environment is dynamic, offering a mix of remote and on-site tasks, particularly focusing on a significant project at an oil refinery. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.00/hr.
