Low Voltage Technician – Chesapeake, VA

Overview

We’re looking for a Low Voltage Technician with at least 2 years of commercial experience installing and terminating Cat 5, Cat 5e, and Cat 6 cabling. You’ll handle cable pulls, device installs, and telecom system wiring across schools and government facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Pull, run, and terminate Cat 5/Cat 5e/Cat 6 cablesInstall low-voltage devices and access control systemsRun speaker wiring and telecom cablingRead and follow installation schematics and blueprintsSupport both new construction and remodel projects

Essential Skills

Minimum 2 years in commercial low-voltage installationsStrong proficiency with Cat 5, Cat 5e, and Cat 6 cablingHands-on experience with conduit pulls, terminations, and troubleshootingComfortable using hand tools and testing equipmentValid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $27.00/hr.
