**Job Title: Low Voltage Technician** Job Description We are seeking experienced Low Voltage Technicians with a minimum of 2 years of commercial experience. The role requires proficiency in handling cat 5 and cat 6 wires, including cable pulling, terminations, running wires, installing devices, and managing access controls and telecom systems. Responsibilities + Install and terminate cat 5 and cat 6 cables. + Pull cables and run wires efficiently. + Install devices and access controls. + Run speaker wires for telecom systems. + Work predominantly in schools and government facilities, including both new constructions and remodels. Essential Skills + At least 2 years of commercial experience in low voltage systems. + Proficiency with cat 5, cat 6, and cat 5e wires. + Experience in construction, installation, and termination processes. + Skilled in using hand tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Willingness to comply with a prescreening background check. + Comfortable driving personal vehicle to various jobsites across Hampton Roads. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesapeake, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $27.00/hr.
