Job Description
The Production Technician is responsible for the installation, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems and equipment in a production or field environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with low voltage electrical systems and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
ResponsibilitiesInstall, wire, and terminate low voltage systems including but not limited to security, fire alarm, access control, and communication systems.Troubleshoot and repair low voltage equipment and wiring issues using diagnostic tools and schematics.Perform system testing and quality assurance checks to ensure proper functionality.Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including service reports and wiring diagrams.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.Essential SkillsExperience with low voltage systems.Proficiency in using hand tools.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Skill in pulling wire and using diagnostic tools.Familiarity with fire alarm systems and inspection procedures.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience using a volt meter.Ability to maintain accurate documentation.Why Work Here

Work Environment
Work in a manufacturing setting during the 1st shift from Monday to Friday.

This is a Contract and potential Contract to hire position based out of Greenfield, Indiana.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
