**Low Voltage Technician** **Job Description** The Low Voltage Lead Technician is responsible for overseeing and executing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems, including security systems, fire alarms, audio/visual systems, telecommunications, and networking. This role demands technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with both team members and clients. The technician will work remotely, completing installations in Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Western Iowa, with a focus on projects in commercial properties such as oil refineries. **Responsibilities** + Oversee and execute installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems. + Work remotely to complete installations in specified regions. + Decommission old cabling and equipment, and install new cabling, access points, and CCTV. + Terminate copper and fiber cables and install access points. + Run a man lift for specific project requirements. + Collaborate with other trades and contractors on multi-disciplinary projects. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of experience in installation and service of structured cabling, video surveillance, access control, and nurse call systems. + 1+ years of experience in installation and service of fire alarm systems. + Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook. + Strong writing and communication skills. + Excellent customer service and professional demeanor. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Self-starter with great initiative and drive. + Willingness to learn new systems and take on complex technology projects. + Ability to work well independently and in a team environment. + Willingness to travel within the region and out of state for project completion. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.00/hr.
