Low Voltage Technician
Job Title: Low Voltage Technician Level 2 and 3
Job Description

We are seeking skilled Low Voltage Technicians for Level 2 and 3 positions to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for installing, terminating, and testing structured cabling systems, and building out MDF and IDF closets in an active data center environment.

ResponsibilitiesTerminate jacks and pull cables.Install, terminate, and test structured cabling systems for CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a, fiber optic, and coaxial cables.Build out MDF and IDF closets, including racks, patch panels, wire management systems, and network hardware.Install cordage type cabling in active data centers.Set up network cabling.Dress and tail cables.Read and interpret blueprints.Pull jetline into closets.Receive and review subsets of scope for pre-planning personnel, materials, and tools.Build closets and install free-standing server racks and cabinets.Place and install pathways.Accurately pre-label copper and fiber cordage.Pull and dress copper and fiber indoor and OSP cables.Essential SkillsCabling and low voltage installationCommercial electrical experienceBlueprint reading1-4 years of experience as a commercial low voltage technicianTelecom cablingWyoming Low Voltage LicenseOSHA 10 certificationGeneral labor skillsInstallation and quality inspectionData cable and pulling wire expertiseAdditional Skills & QualificationsLevel 2: 1 year of commercial low voltage installation experience, must own tools, valid driver's license.Level 3: 2-4 years of commercial low voltage installation experience, must own tools, valid driver's license.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The role operates in a data center environment with a schedule of Monday to Friday, working 5 days of 10-hour shifts and an 8-hour shift on Saturdays. The project spans 8 weeks, with start times at 7am. Dress code and specific equipment will be provided as needed for the Nova data center.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of McCarran, Nevada.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
