**Job Title: Low Voltage Installer - START ASAP**
**Job Description**
Join our team as an Electronics Technician, where you will play a vital role in performing structured cabling for commercial new and remodeling construction projects. Working alongside a lead technician, you will receive comprehensive training while contributing to the installation of low voltage cables for security systems, nurse call stations, and fire alarms at new construction sites. Your day will typically begin at the shop in Middleton, or directly at the construction site if you reside nearby in Madison. This role does not involve working with live wires.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform structured cabling for commercial construction projects.
+ Collaborate with lead technician for training and guidance.
+ Install low voltage cables for security systems, nurse call stations, and fire alarms.
+ Utilize power tools such as drills, j-hooks, and cable accessories for installation.
+ Pull wire and install new low voltage cable.
+ Ensure clean and organized work sites.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with CAT 6, CAT 5, and low voltage wiring.
+ Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools.
+ Ability to work with CCTV systems.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Hand and power tool experience verified through references.
+ Reliable transportation to work or job sites.
+ Ability to work in construction environments, using small ladders, tools, and navigating small spaces.
+ At least 6 months experience in low voltage, audio/video, wire pulling, or construction.
+ Good work history with less than one job per year.

**Work Environment**
You will work on construction job sites where heating and air conditioning may not be available. The team size varies from 1-4 technicians per job. The dress code requires clean jeans or work pants, t-shirts or long sleeves, and necessary PPE including hard hats, safety glasses, and high visibility vests provided by the company. Work hours are typically from 7:00 to 7:30 AM start to 5:30 PM, with 8-10 hour days. Some nights and weekends may be required based on project needs. Most projects are located in Dane County.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middleton, Wisconsin.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
