Job Description
As a Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting cable projects by pulling in copper and strand cabling, as well as conducting some utility locating. You will assist with various projects across the northeast side of Indianapolis and surrounding areas.
ResponsibilitiesPull copper cables and support strand cabling.Conduct utility locating tasks.Assist with regional projects, ensuring effective completion.Engage in trenching, splicing, and ditch work as required.Essential SkillsExperience in concrete and construction work.Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.Knowledge of general labor practices.Ability to perform trenching and splicing tasks.Skilled in utility locating.Additional Skills & QualificationsExpertise in cable splicing and pulling.Experience with terminations and splicing techniques.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This role offers a dynamic work environment with both indoor and outdoor settings, experiencing diverse weather conditions. Work hours are typically Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with flexibility to accommodate customer schedules. Some work may occur during off-shift hours, and there is an on-call team that volunteers for emergency calls. Travel opportunities include a nightly per diem for hotel and food expenses.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenwood, Indiana.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
