Low Voltage Electrician
**About the Role** We are seeking a skilled and motivated Low Voltage Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will install, maintain, and troubleshoot low‑voltage systems across commercial, industrial, and/or residential environments. You will work with technologies such as fiber, coax, copper, CCTV, access control, alarms, and other structured cabling systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and high‑quality installations. **Key Responsibilities** + Install, terminate, and test low‑voltage cabling (fiber, coax, Cat5/6, copper). + Install and service systems such as CCTV, access control, alarms, nurse call, and other life‑safety or communication systems. + Troubleshoot system issues and perform corrective maintenance. + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. + Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely project completion. + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. + Follow all safety standards, codes, and company procedures. **Qualifications** + 2–5+ years of experience working with low‑voltage systems (varies by role). + Strong understanding of structured cabling, terminations, and system installation. + Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment. + Experience working on construction sites or commercial projects is a plus. + Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. + Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Madison, WI. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $72800.00/yr. 401(k) - after full year of service 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid Holidays PTO - pro-rated 2 weeks, 2 weeks at first full year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years Vision insurance Company vehicle - after training **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Madison,WI. **Application Deadline** This position is anticipated to close on Jan 15, 2026. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
