\n\t\t\t\t\tCore Job Requirements/Outcomes\n\nDemonstrate a strong commitment to regulatory compliance by adhering to FDCPA and UDAAP standards and proactively completing all mandatory training to ensure operational integrity.\nEffectively manage delinquent accounts by calling on and engaging members with professionalism and empathy to identify causes of default and offer tailored recovery solutions, resulting in decreased loss to the credit union.\nMinimize loan losses by preparing and recommending accounts for repossession or charge-off after all primary collection efforts have been exhausted, while demonstrating advanced proficiency through managing higher volumes, executing complex collection tasks, and mentoring others to support team development and operational excellence.\nOther Essential Functions\n\nDemonstrate a strong commitment to excellence by consistently maintaining departmental standards, and reliably achieving operational and service goals that support the overall success of the team.\nContinuously seeks opportunities to improve collection processes by identifying inefficiencies and implementing more effective methods, while remaining adaptable to change and open to adopting new strategies and tools for enhanced performance.\nResponsible for accurately and efficiently processing payments, including internal transfers, external ACH transactions, and debit card transactions.\nActively contribute to team success through continuous improvement, collaboration on departmental initiatives, participation in ongoing training, and fostering strong, professional relationships that promote a positive and productive work environment.

\n\t\t\t\t\tMinimum of two years of experience in account resolution, account maintenance, or a comparable role within a financial institution or related industry\nDemonstrated experience negotiating repayment terms and resolving overdue accounts\nAbility to manage high call volumes effectively\nExperience in consumer collections preferred\nWorking knowledge of consumer deposit and loan products preferred\nFamiliarity with FDCPA, UDAAP, and related regulatory requirements preferred\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.94 - $23.40/hr.
