About the Role
Ecolab is seeking an Associate Logistics Trainee to join our European International Logistics Team. In this role, you will monitor end- to-end import and export operations across Europe, maintaining close communication with our 3PL partner, customs brokers, manufacturing plants, and trade compliance teams.
You will follow up on critical customer orders and provide support to the planning area to ensure availability, prioritization, and service continuity.

Foster proactive communication with internal teams to ensure service continuity and timely issue resolution.Build strong relationships with vendors involved in import processes, service levels, and compliance.Monitor end-to-end import and export operations in collaboration with our 3PL partner, ensuring visibility, accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.Place, validate, and follow up on critical customer orders, ensuring prioritization and alignment with customer expectations.Provide operational support to the Planning team to ensure product availability and correct prioritization.Act as a subject matter expert across international logistics processes, including trade compliance, account management, database maintenance, delivery execution, and exception handling.Track and analyse KPIs related to quality, service, and cost; propose and implement corrective and improvement actions.Collaborate closely with the European Logistics team to support aligned priorities and seamless operations.Support strategic and continuous improvement initiatives together with Logistics and Customer Service (process optimization, documentation and controls enhancement, and system improvements).Work autonomously in a fast-paced environment while proactively supporting internal stakeholders.Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.Previous experience in logistics, transportation, operations, or related fields.SAP experience.Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.Basic proficiency in Power BI and Power Automate.Advanced proficiency in Excel and Visio.Fluent in English.Strong and assertive communication skills.No visa sponsorship available.Preferred Qualifications
