**Job Title: Logistics Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated individuals to perform quality control and assurance work on piles and racking for a mechanical contractor on a project. The ideal candidate should be skilled in using basic hand and power tools, possess the ability to measure with a ruler to a tenth of an inch, and be mechanically inclined. Proficiency with technology such as iPads and computers is essential, as the role involves performing inspections on all mechanical phases of the job. **Responsibilities** + Perform quality assurance and control inspections on mechanical components. + Use basic hand and power tools effectively. + Measure with precision using a ruler to a tenth of an inch. + Utilize iPads and computers for inspection and reporting tasks. + Ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of mechanical and pile quality control experience. + Proficiency in using either an iPad or a computer. + Familiarity with solar and mechanical construction processes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + OSHA 10 certification preferred. **Why Work Here?** Join a growing industry with projected growth as the #1 sector in the US. The schedule involves 5-6 shifts per week, totaling 50-60 hours. The workday begins at 7 AM, with three scheduled breaks throughout the day. Each day starts with a safety talk, and appropriate work clothing, including steel toe boots above the ankle, is required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Coldwater, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
