What you’ll do: The TJX Supply Chain & Logistics teams provide supply chain expertise and solutions to support our global business. Focused on our direct and indirect supply chain, our goal is to successfully deliver product (merchandise) to our stores timely, efficient, and in the most cost-effective manner. We partner across TJX to drive and enable supply chain strategies, encouraging collaboration and sharing of ideas to support the growth of our fast-paced business.
Depending on your interests, expertise, and our business needs, you could focus on one of several areas:
Our Business Enablement Team partners with internal partners and external vendors to develop and execute innovative solutions to ensure merchandise arrives at stores most efficiently and cost-effective.
Our Strategy & Analytics Team provides analysis and project management to help execute on strategic initiatives and drive value in the way of cost savings, service, and quality. They create and maintain models and reports to provide insights for strategic decision making.
Our Inbound Transportation Team manages the flow of goods from domestic vendors to Distribution and Processing Centers, utilizing our Transportation Management System (TMS). They identify solutions for late loads, secure cost-effective capacity strategies, and maintain carrier relationships.
Our Outbound Transportation Team stewards the flow of merchandize from our Distribution Centers and Processing Centers to the TJX Stores nationwide, planning store deliveries via Transportation Management System (TMS), while leading continuous improvement initiatives across the outbound network.
Our Carrier & 3PLManagement Teams are responsible for the strategic relationships across all modes and logistics 3PL services. They procure all capacity, negotiate the most optimal rates and conduct contracting supporting Logistics operations.

Key Qualifications:
Ability to work July – December, Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
Current Sophomores and Juniors
Students pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Admin, or related major
Desire to pursue a career in Supply Chain / Logistics at TJX
Additional qualifications include:
A genuine interest in Supply Chain and Logistics
Problem solving through thinking analytically and creatively
Excellent communicators who work well in teams
Curiosity and eagerness to learn

With corporate offices located in Framingham and Marlborough, MA, and Distribution Centers in Woburn and Worcester, MA, reliable transportation is required.
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
This position has a starting pay range of $23.50 to $24.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
