Job Description
Join the Global Mile team within the Cross Border Execution (XBE) division, supporting the import of goods and freight into the US. Manage processes such as processing repair claims, escalating containers on customs holds, and communicating through reports within the organization. This role primarily requires communication through an auditing platform, minimizing phone support. Strong Excel skills, including proficiency with SUM, average formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs, are crucial for success. Responsibilities
Manage various logistics processes within the cross-border space.Process repair claims and escalate containers on customs holds.Communicate and create reports for other teams within the organization.Engage in email communication with internal and external stakeholders on customs-related issues.Leverage multiple data sources to make informed decisions.Handle approximately 50 cases daily, with potential involvement in project and process improvement work after onboarding.Essential Skills
Proficiency in Excel, including SUM, average formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs.Experience in logistics operations or administrative roles working with stakeholders.Strong stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.Ability to make informed decisions by leveraging multiple data sources.Additional Skills & Qualifications
2+ years of work experience.Experience in transportation and freight.Any prior experience with our client.Leadership principles, including ownership.Work Environment
The team currently works in-person on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with Wednesday designated as a remote workday. This schedule is subject to change.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
