We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Specialist who will manage the flow of goods around the world with urgency and precision. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, focusing on the paperwork and transactional aspects of shipping from point A to B, and managing the entire journey.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with internal teams, suppliers, distributors, and transportation providers to ensure the smooth flow of goods from point of origin to destination.Select and coordinate exports and imports to schedule pickups and deliveries while optimizing cost and delivery times.Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.Prepare shipping documents, customs documentation, and ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements.Analyze and evaluate department performance within inbound and outbound logistics processes, identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities to improve the company's bottom line.Proactively identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.Audit and approve freight invoices from service providers and resolve invoice discrepancies as needed.Assist in the creation of key processes, flow diagrams, and work instructions.
Essential Skills3-5 years of experience with exports.Proficiency in HTC Codes and eco codes (tax codes).High proficiency with Excel, including macros, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in biotech, medical device, and cold chain logistics.Bachelor's degree is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
