Job Title: Logistics Specialist Job Description
The Logistics Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting all aspects of the company's inventory and purchase order system. The candidate will utilize Excel to track inventory locations and anticipate needs for future orders. This position involves shipping to various countries to support access to hearing aids globally. Planning inventory to meet the foundation's demand and assisting with administrative tasks for the VP are also key components of this role.
Responsibilities
+ Support all aspects of the company's inventory and purchase order system.
+ Utilize Excel to track inventory locations and anticipate order needs.
+ Ship products worldwide to support access to hearing aids.
+ Plan inventory to meet foundation demand.
+ Assist in loading boxes and preparing them for shipment.
+ Support the VP with administrative tasks.
Essential Skills
+ Logistics and supply chain management experience.
+ 1 to 2 years of experience in logistics, procurement administration, or purchase order management.
+ Fundamental understanding of Excel.
+ Ability to lift 20 pounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in international shipping and handling.
+ Ability to work with diverse teams across different countries.
Work Environment
The role requires three days working in the office and two days working from home. The office is located on the campus, providing access to the cafe and other campus perks. The position includes a hotel desk for the remote working days.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, Kansas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $24.00/hr.
