Subject: Transportation Carrier Specialist Position Overview Job Title: Transportation Carrier Specialist Pay Rate: $21.00/hour Work Location: Nashville, TN Shift Schedule: Shifts vary Sunday – Saturday 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM Key Responsibilities + Collaborate on programs, metrics, reports, and dashboards to support business decisions + Identify and resolve escalations within carrier network + Pull and analyze data using Excel, Access, and SQL + Operate within SIM queues to address driver and carrier issues + Communicate effectively via Slack (internal) and email (external) Performance Metrics (KPIs) + SIM ticket resolution + Parking and routing accuracy + Carrier communications and overall performance Requirements & Skills Must-Haves: + 1–3 years' experience in ticketing, transportation, customer service + Entry-level proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office + Strong communication and problem-solving skills + Operational focus (no phone work required) + High school diploma Nice-to-Haves + Experience with logistics, SIM, intermodal, carrier management, supply chain + Data analysis and customer service exposure + Flexibility in work schedule Why This Role Stands Out + Entry point into a corporate environment + Opportunity to grow within Transportation Services + Team support during high-volume seasonal periods Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
