Logistics Representative
**CTG is seeking to fill a Logistics Representative position for our client.** **Location:** Pittsburgh, PA **Duration:** 12 months **Pay Rate:** $25.00/hour **Duties:** + Tender (assign) bulk transportation shipments and manage order changes within the SAP ERP system and third-party Transportation Management Systems (TMS). + Coordinate daily logistics activities to ensure the timely, accurate, and cost-effective movement of goods and equipment. + Work directly with Order Management, manufacturing plants, bulk carriers, and carrier dispatch teams to meet customer delivery and stock transfer requirements. + Monitor daily operations at assigned third-party logistics facilities across the U.S. and Canada to ensure service level expectations are met. + Assist with coordinating package highway and multimodal transportation activities, including equipment balancing, loading, and unloading. + Collaborate with third-party logistics providers on transportation execution, issue resolution, and process adherence. + Support change management for shipment schedules, routing, and equipment needs. + Provide backup support across other Transportation Operations functions as needed. **Skills:** + Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail. + Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with diverse internal and external stakeholders. + Basic understanding of supply chain, logistics, or transportation concepts. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); ability to learn SAP and TMS platforms. + Problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. + Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative. **Experience:** + Ideal for a recent college graduate seeking an entry-level opportunity in logistics or supply chain. + Internship, co-op, or academic project experience in logistics, supply chain, operations, or business is a plus but not required. + No prior full-time logistics experience required; training will be provided. **Education:** + High School Diploma or equivalent (required). + Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or a related field (or recent graduate nearing completion). Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
